Cultivated on the slopes of the Ortenberg locality, in Scherwiller, this wine benefits from an east-facing exposure that promotes optimal grape ripeness. The granite arena soils and coarse sands on bedrock give the Pinot Gris a unique minerality and complexity.

Produced from sustainable viticulture and cultivation management that preserves the wine’s quality while respecting the environment, this wine is certified High Environmental Value (HVE), a guarantee of the quality of its production.

Tasting and Aromatic Profile of Pinot Gris Ortenberg

Pinot Gris Ortenberg is distinguished by its brilliant and luminous golden color. On the nose, it releases intense and complex aromas of ripe fruits, smoky notes, and sweet spices, characteristic of its granite terroir.

On the palate, it offers a full and silky attack, supported by a pronounced minerality that brings freshness. Its structure is balanced, round, and full-bodied, with a beautiful length on the palate and a persistent finish with fruity and spicy nuances, as well as a beautiful minerality.

Serve it at a temperature of 12 to 14°C to appreciate all its aromatic richness. This wine can be kept between 4 and 6 years, during which time it will continue to gain in complexity.
